She is my eyes encouragement, my hearts friend, my soul mate, my steps inspiration,
But I am sure to understand her utterance,
For she is commencing from angels planet, the charismatic in the humankind ever seen
Aye! Not meant for me, I affirm it,
No matter what the heart says, how many times the heart goes sick,
Never to concealed, never opening the gate of heart,
For I will keep in my solitary heart, never to unlock the lock
For she in my compassionate heart never to die and to live for eternity.

The
Boy With The Tattoo
“Not
so long, finally he found his true love”. It was when he was in
11th standard, where the occasion was for archery team
selection in different school. He went as well to take part to try
his luck, but his luck seems in other way direction . He met his old
friends with whom he shared few words to relive their old memories.
In between their spicy conversation, Rabten(name changed) reached his
stare at something unusual, which glitters no less than a diamond.
“Am
I dreaming”, thought Dorji. He asked his friends about that and
tried his best to reach fully to the fullest details. Hell with his
luck, one of his best friends, gave her mobile number to which the
Dorji's sentiment reached the last horizon of his happiness as though
like a war finally won with grin over the chin of victorious army.
He
went back to his school, but his mind was left behind somewhere
unknown. All day and night, be it inside class or not, he left
himself totally out of reach from anyone. It kept on striking in his
mind, whether to dial her or not.
“How
long can I not call her” he murmerd to himself.
With
full of fear and thought of reaction from other side, he started
dialing, 17......0. The ring of the phone, slowly, swayed like
a motion of air, and in every ring of the phone, was the heart beat
of Rabten gradually increasing. At the peak of his heart beat, he
heard, from other side, “Hello.”
He
lost his sense totally, and in no minutes, he started stammering,
Hello.....o, Am....m I, I, I talking to Pema. The
spontaneous reply made him more tensed.
Men
will be men forever, and how long Rabten will resist his temptation
and feelings. With stone kept in his heart, he started revealing all
the truths once hidden within himself. With the excitement then, he
even disguised himself to be romantic poet although he was not, and
never mind whether other side of phone was even listening to him or
not. All of sudden, Pema said to him, “All boys are the same”.
Rabten was stuck with that very word, and have no option rather
to hang up his phone.
He
thought so many things of that conversation erstwhile if he thought
of his lesson, he could have remembered all the subjects that were
taught in the class. Before he went to sleep, at least he showed a
manly courtesy to drop a message, “Good Night, Sweet dreams”.
Things
didn't end here, the sweet voice and charming face of Pema Zangmo
kept striking to him like Tendulkar kept striking the cricket ball.
Rabten, started showing the sign of sickness, a disease which is
incurable by all the famous doctors of the world. However, he was not
someone who give in easily. One day or other, he kept calling Pema
and was trying his luck to convince his true feelings. “Every thing
is fair and love and war”, was exactly the situation built in his
life. No matter how many times he was not replied in a good manner as
he wished from her, Rabten never made up his mind to DE-link with
her.
He
called her when ever he was free, texted her with sweet messages
before his bed time.
Pema
never made up her mind, and true to some extent that how can she
trust someone with whom she never met even for
once............................................
Rabten
doesn't have choice rather to console his heart for not able to get
his love of life. He was too much in love with her that, he even
craved her first two letters of her name in his name, “PZ”.
The
year ended well, and it was time for all the students for their
winter vacation.
The
whole winter vacation there was no contact, no SMS, and no thinking
of her, Rabten was busy helping his parents.
With
new hopes, fresh mind and charming looks, Rabten came to school for
his new academic year which was his last year in the high school. He
was talented guy in every field from the very beginning, and not to
surprise for anybody, he was awarded the rank of captaincy in the
school. When Dorji, was awarded his captain's batch with other fellow
captains, his ear heard the name called out in speaker, which was
familiar to him before. After the program, he went and met one of the
girl captain and asked her, “Are you from Dojiling.” the
frequency of the positive answer made affirm that Rabten finally met
his dream girl. Without further adieu and not waiting for any
unexpected question from her, he narrated whole of the story to her.
After a while, he have seen she was a laughing and kept laughing. He
started blushing and blushing his blush started to further
embarrassment, when she said, “I am in relation”. All
dreams that Rabten had so far, in no minutes burnt down into ashes.
It was his first time in love and his love turned into something that
he had never expected. At that very point, all he regretted and
repented was without knowing the other sides of traffic, he enclaves
her name and made into Tattoo, PZ. He was in the threshold for
what should be his next steps, as he cant do away easily with the
marks that he had made on his hand. He cried that whole night, like a
baby crying when baby is in need of a milk.
When
a door is closed for a while, there is always another door which
opens in no time. It was in the mid year of his schooling, he came
across a girl with similar name Pema Zangmo. Although at first he was
not attracted to her, seemingly, his first love failure made double
standard for him not to take chance to fall in love again.
Heart
is not a icy stone which could easily get melted. Gradual and seeing
her pass by every day made her more attracted to him and a poor
fellow was once again in love with her but this time, totally a
different PZ.
The
fear of getting rejected again for once again, he hid all his
feelings and just loved her inside his heart although it was hard for
him to resist and do hold on with. The year ended with one more time
the dark light befallen in Rabten's love life.
Rabten
finally completed his high school and he moved to Thimphu in search
of better pasture. Although Rabten could manage his career so well,
he still have unsuccessful unsolved love life. The time changed into
seconds, seconds changed into minutes, minutes into hour, hour into
days, weeks, months but Rabten kept thinking of PZ in his dream
world.
One
fine day, when he was working in his computer, a face book messenger
popped up with the caption, Hi. He clicked onto it and to the
dismay of his surprise, it was PZ. He reacted as if that he was
flying in cloud seven. The usual chatting in Facebook kept going
like any other Facebook users. The chatting went unto almost a month
and finally, he decided to share his feelings. However, he halted
back to make sure what she thinks of him. He downloaded one of her
photo and saved it in his PC. One fine day, in between the chat
Rabten texted her, “can I tell you something.”
“Yes
you can”.
“I
am in love with one of your friend, can you give her my regards,”
Rabten cried.
“Yes,
of course, who is she,” she replied. At that very moment, Rabten
attached her photo from his desktop and sent to her saying, “I am
in love with her.” For a moment there was no sound of pop up.
Silence made Rabten, to think of his past memories of blushing and
all. But this time it was not a mood for blush, when message popped
up and quickly he opened it, and seen, “I love you, too. I was in
love with you since the very first day in the school.”
Out
of excitement, Rabten, started dancing in full swing although he
can't dance well. Doesn't care one can dance or not, but it was a
dance of success in Rabten's love life.
Rabten
thought that he made a right decision by not wiping up tattoo of PZ
on his hand, because if not for first PZ, second PZ can live in my
heart. The tattoo, that enclaves was the destiny of Dorji, which
can't be overruled even by god himself.

I Want to Fly High
- I want to fly high,
With neither wealth nor power,
But on the wings of mindfulness..
Fueled with the simplicity of my poor heart.
I want to fly high,
Not on a mundane name
Or an earthly fame,
But on a selfless quest without end.

The Good Teacher
A good teacher is a
person who finds individual approach to every pupil, taking care about the
child’s adaptation in class, increasing one’s social status in class and making
sure the children learn to take into account and respect the thoughts of other people.
Teaching
can without any doubts be called the leading power of the society’s
development. It is well known that there exist three main factors that
influence the development of the personality. They are: heredity, social
encirclement and education. Usually the term education is used meaning the
great impact that parent have on the future personality of their child. But
this also includes school education, because nowadays, when parents are very
busy they are the people, who teach children what is beautiful and what is
ugly, what is right and what is wrong. Through them children learn to perceive
the inner world. And the way they perceive it depends on the teacher’s personal
particularities that are transmitted to children through interaction and the
knowledge that the teacher offers them. A good teacher is a person who finds
individual approach to every pupil, taking care about the child’s adaptation in
class, increasing one’s social status in class and making sure the children
learn to take into account and respect the thoughts of other people.
Therefore
there is much more to a teacher than high professionalism. What makes kids
hardly wait until the lesson starts in one cases and hating the subject in
others? Of course high professionalism in the field of the taught subject is
very important, but when it comes to being a bad or a good teacher this is not
the weightiest factor. A good teacher is a person who not just reproduces the
knowledge he got. Not a person that only brings up the interest to the subject.
It is a person who finds individual approach to every pupil, taking care about
the child’s adaptation in class, increasing one’s social status in class and
making sure the children learn to take into account and respect the thoughts of
other people. It is a man or a woman that cannot “play” the teacher’s role but
he in the first place “a feeling human being” in front of the students, a
person that can show emotional response. For example, if the teacher is
professionally good enough but does not take critics from the pupils
constructively or does not explain why he thinks he is right this makes a huge
gap between the students and the teacher. And when there is no emotional
contact the learning cannot be called successful, for the students are not
completely involved. When the teacher does not treat students as people that
obey him, treats them like they are equal to him and explains equally to
everybody it can really be a pointer of a “good” teacher. And one other very
important thing is creativity.
One
of the indicators of a “good” teacher it is his desire to teach in a new,
original form, adding something new and personal to make the learning process
as exciting as it can possibly be. A bad teacher is a person that focuses only
on the information he provides not taking into account the children or
anything. It is a person that is doing its job. Such a person can be very good
in the theoretical part of his subject but he will never have students being
emotionally attached to him. It is a teacher that lets his personal mood
influence on the way he treats his students, etc. That cannot reduce awkward
situations with humor either it is him in the situation or his student. Being a
good teacher is about loving children and wanting to give them only the best
the teacher has inside of him.

Can GNH Live?
The argument
between wealth and happiness is one of the epic points to be debatable in
today’s world. Many believe that if Gross Domestic Product of country is
rising, ultimate result is that economic development of the country is in full
swing making their citizens happy. However, according to Richard Layard and
David Brooks, they states that, ‘with the rise in income of the country,
instead of bringing happiness in the country, there are more of unhappiness
arising in the country.
Correspondently, they believe in the beliefs of
nineteenth-century economist, ‘that the extra income is greatest when you are
poor, and declines steadily as you get richer, the effect of extra income on
happiness is greatest in the poorest countries, where people are nearest to the
breadline” (p.33). Happiness is more important than wealth. This is the
official policy in Bhutan, where King Jigme Singye Wangchuck prefers to speak
of Gross National Happiness, rather than Gross National Product, setting the
theme for careful development and gradual change. The differences between Gross
Domestic Product (GDP) and Happiness are perceived quite amazingly in Bhutan.
When rest of the world believes that happiness is generated with rise in the
Gross domestic product, Bhutan believes that, happiness can be generated if all
the citizens are happy. Seemingly, the concept of Gross National Happiness
(GNH) is prior to Gross Domestic Product and all the developments in Bhutan are
considered in aligned to Gross National Happiness.
To the extent, happiness
can be brought about when the economic status of a country is stable.
Consequently, keeping GNH concept into consideration, Bhutan’s economic
development is taking place at high stake. Unanimously, many believes that with
so many economic developments in Bhutan, will it be possible for Bhutanese to
maintain their concept of GNH. To the perception of my sense organ, I believe
that Bhutan can maintain the general welfare and happiness for so many years to
come. As per Richard and Brooks, they give verdicts that after the basic
necessities have been achieved, income is only lightly connected to well being.
In case of Bhutan, even after achieving basic necessities, income will be
connected to total well being of the Bhutanese. Bhutan, consider happiness on
top for achieving economic income. For an instance, for the economic
developments of Bhutanese economy, unlike other countries, Bhutan give much
priority on conservation of culture, protection of environment, sustainable
economic development and make sure good governance.
According to Karma Tshiteem, Secretary, Gross National Happiness Commission, “A strong sense of identity is critical for a sense of well being,” similarly, because of our strong identity, we can maintain happiness forever. Bhutanese place happiness before the achievement of economic growth and they always believe in gross happiness and value of the life.

My Dear MOM and DAD
I love you my dear mom and dad. You gave me life and you have
helped me so much to grow up and taught me how to live in this world. You gave
and gave and still you give me so much that are priceless in this world.
You two care less about yourself and you fed me and cleaned my
faces, wiped my noses. You gave me toys and taught me how to play and how to go
about in my life. You gave me golden words and taught me what to say, how to
behave and what a person I should become.
You gave me clothes to keep me warm and did your best to keep me
from harm and dark world. Your love and affection is the greatest wealth that I
ever had in my life.
I was showed my path and gave me the direction towards which I have
to proceed. I was lifted up and when I feel down gave me the moral support to
become successful.
The things that I need to cope up, I got from you, the faith and love. You gave me the
best years of your life through pain or sickness and even in strife. Even during
good times and bad times you gave me everything.
My dear mom and dad I have learned from you so much to have a
hold and how to touch, to laugh, to cry and to stand as a proud man in the
crowd.
I remember, you saying that I shouldn't be selfish and I have to
share, how to love and how to care for other. The respecting of elderly and showing
pity on younger one are good quality that you have put in me.
Now to turn the page, you taught me how to age, how to grow old
gracefully, how to look back gratefully, how to hold you in my heart like you
have held me from the start. Now it’s my turn to give to you but all I have has
come from you and what I have I will give to you freely just as you gave to me.
When you gave me everything, you just gave me expecting nothing
in return but to love and live the way you used to live. I salute you and I will never ever let two of
you down.
I love you my dear mom and dad and I miss you so much.
